2FM026 Heroes & Villains is a large-scale orchestral album that takes us on a Technicolor tour of our favourite superheroes. From old-school orchestral silver-screen sounds to cutting-edge modern scoring, and from clashing swords to machine warfare, forces of good and evil go head to head in this most vivid of albums. Ride across golden plains on horseback in the majestically upbeat Western Frontier, and rove across dangerous seas with driving drums in Pirate King. Brave the perils of the night with sinister marching brass in Vampire Hunters, and battle the forces of evil in Purge the Darkness. We also pay our dues to the real-life military heroes in Honor the Brave and Fallen Heroes, complete with stirring brass, proud snare drums and heart-wrenching strings.
