With a pop of percussion, a shimmer of strings, a bang of brass and a whirl of woodwinds, 2FM110 Cartoon Toolkit will whisk you away to the golden age of cartoon music. Go on Sunday strolls, whacky chases and mischievous adventures with tracks from Paul Cohen, Jack Gionis and Carl Johnson. There’s a whole host of weird and wonderful musical sound effects available for each track, such as slipping up on banana peel, falling down the stairs, dropping heavy objects from great heights or blowing up balloons (watch out for the slide whistle!). They can be used on their own, or they’re equally harmonious when edited with their parent track. These tracks, and their accompanying effects, will be perfect for illustrating silly moments in reality TV, children’s TV, advertising and online content. The vintage style combined with up-to-date production values means that they’ll be useful for both retro and more modern uses. All instrument groups were recorded in stems, and a range of versions and cutdowns are available.
