Wes joins Maestro Music

2FM are pleased to announce that Wes Hicks has joined the team at Maestro Music. He will be working closely with 2FM as Maestro Music produce a large number of albums for our catalogue.

Wes completed a placement year with Maestro Music in 2014-2015 whilst studying for the Tonmeister degree at Surrey University. Fresh from graduating this summer with a First-class degree and the AMS Neve Portfolio Prize, he now works full-time at Maestro Music as Production Manager. Typical jobs include sorting out production schedules, producing recording sessions, tinkering with spreadsheets, audio editing, playing the drums (amongst other instruments) on Maestro Music albums, and frequently misplacing his keys and wallet. Wes also films and edits all 2FM videos. He'll certainly be kept busy!

We look forward to working with Wes on a more permanent basis after he impressed us so much on his placement year. Congratulations on your well-deserved appointment.
